The five-minute rule is nothing short of a miracle. All you have to do is ask yourself what you can do within five minutes today that can move the task forward even if it’s just a very small amount. Once you decide the action you can take, set your timer for five minutes and work on that task.
And once you start something, you’re more likely to finish it since unfinished tasks tend to stick in your memory.

The concept of power hour is nothing new and basically involves getting rid of all distractions and working on the task in chunks of time.
Start with 20-minute intervals and do nothing else but work in that time period. Take short breaks in between periods of work to harness the maximum power from your body and brain. ????????

Choose a song or tune that energizes you and play it when you want to do something you’ve been constantly delaying.
The song will act as a trigger for your body and you have a better chance of being productive when you’re feeling great.
