Don’t make these mistakes in your resume

You’ve been applying to a ton of jobs, but you’re not getting calls for any interviews. And it’s not because you’re not good enough or not qualified enough, it might just be because there are some fatal errors in your resume.

So when making or revising your resume, make sure you don’t have these common mistakes in them. ????????

⚠️ Grammatical errors

While this is the most obvious, this is the most common mistake people often make. If your resume isn’t grammatically correct, there’s a high chance that the employer will make some conclusions like you don’t care enough.

⚠️ Not mentioning the specifics

Don’t just simply state what you used to do at your previous job. Instead, you need to show them what you’ve accomplished. And the only way you can do that is by mentioning the impact you had on the business. This is where you need to mention details.

⚠️ Using a generic resume

A one-size-fits-all approach never works. You can’t just send a generic resume for all job postings you come across. If you do, there’s a high chance that half of the employers won’t even see your resume, since your resume clearly shows lack of effort.

But if you tailor your resume specifically for your employers, they feel special. And not to mention, they expect you to demonstrate why and how you fit in a certain organization.  ✅
